The night before the trip I am restless. I am with the girl of my dreams. Seana is cuddled next to me and it is difficult to sleep as I lay awake all night talking, laughing, and gazing into her beautiful blue eyes. This leads to a very tired couple the next morning as we finally get to sleep around 1:30 A.M. With two hours of rest under our belts we slowly wake at 3:30 A.M. and manage to stumble down the steps in Maliko and into our car. We drive to the shop, hop in the van, and proceeded to make the journey up the 10,800 foot mountain known as Haleakala -- en route to one of the best sunrises ever seen.
We arrive at the top around 5:00 A.M. and there is a dim, orange glow illuminating the West as the sun begins to rise. Temperature is about 40 F. and Seana and I decide to head up 'Maui Style'-- rubber slippers!
brrrrr, col
d feet!

The glow began to get brighter as colors of opaque orange to riveting red spattered the horizon as mother nature painted with her elaborate pallet. Beautiful scenery, beautiful island, and the most beautiful woman in the world!
